Theme Dialogue In-Person
Thursday, May 2, 2024
In-person event
Room: C219, College Building
Time: 15:30 - 17:30
The 2nd in the Theme Dialogue series will explore what we mean by Knowledge Exchange & how we can best harness MDX talents to this endeavour
After the first Theme Dialogue, colleagues asked for more! So, the second in the Theme Dialogue series hot on its tails, will explore what we mean by Knowledge Exchange and how we can best harness MDX talents to this endeavour. It will also celebrate new promotions of expertise in this KE and research space.
How can we translate our KE into more effective impact?
Should this always lead to more focussed research or is it sufficient activity on its own?
If exchange is to be meaningful, does it require a change in the way we engage with communities and stakeholders? Where does the expertise reside?
Join us for cross-Faculty insights and refreshments!
The Panel:
• Prof Carmel Clancy, Dean Health, Social Care and Education
• Prof Loraine Leeson, Professor of Art & Social Practice
• Prof Andy Bardill, Professor Product Design & Engineering
• Jenni Ward, Associate Professor in Criminology
Chair: Prof Kurt Barling, Professor of Journalism and University Theme Director Culture & Enterprise
