Following on from our Beyond Academia workshop in March, this informal lunchtime session offers postgraduate researchers the chance to hear from two alumni of the NS department who have successfully transitioned into impactful careers beyond higher education.
Alejandra, now working at the Environment Agency, and Anthony, employed at a Biotech company, will share their personal journeys, reflect on the skills that helped them secure their roles, and offer practical advice on navigating the job market outside academia.
